Postcards winners
Four young Mosman residents have been acknowledged for their inspiring submissions for Council’s Postcards from the Future competition.
The project provided an opportunity for Mosman Council to find out what our young people think Mosman should be like in the future.
We asked primary students to draw a picture of their ideal future Mosman, and high school students to write a short story about what they want Mosman to be like in 2032. The competition judges were very impressed with the quality, creativity and vision for future Mosman shown in the works submitted for the competition, with $250 awarded to the winner of each category and $150 to each highly commended entrant.
The prize recipients are:
- Primary school category - Winner - Sophia Boyd
- Primary school category - Highly Commended - Augustin Dumont
- High school category - Winner – Jenni Lin
- High school category - Highly Commended - Raphael Carrasco
Both high school winners are members of Mosman Youth’s volunteering groups. Council would like to thank all the young residents who submitted entries for the Postcards from the Future competition.
