Plan ahead this New Year's Eve

Road closures and Special Event Clearways will be in place in Mosman LGA for New Year’s Eve celebrations.

Road Closures

Road closures affect both directions unless stated otherwise. Roads will be progressively reopened after cleaning.

3pm, 31 December 2023 – 2am, 1 January 2024

• Athol Wharf Rd – from Bradleys Head Rd
• Bradleys Head Rd – between Whiting Beach Rd and Athol Wharf Rd

Authorised route buses excepted. 

11.30pm, 31 December 2023 – 2am, 1 January 2024

• Bradleys Head Rd – between Thompson St and Whiting Beach Rd
• Prince Albert St – between Queen St and Milner St – northbound
• Thompson St – between Bradleys Head Rd and Burrawong Ave
• Whiting Beach Rd – between Bradleys Head Rd and Prince Albert St

Road reopening will be at the discretion of NSW Police

Special Event Clearways

Special Event Clearways affect both sides unless stated otherwise.

1pm, 31 December 2023 – 3am, 1 January 2024

• Athol Wharf Rd – from Bradleys Head Rd
• Bradleys Head Rd – between Whiting Beach Rd and Athol Wharf Rd
• Spit Rd – between Military Rd and Spit Bridge – northbound
• Spit Rd – between Awaba St and Military Rd – southbound
• Whiting Beach Rd – between Prince Albert St and Bradleys Head Rd – eastbound

6pm, 31 December 2023 – 3am, 1 January 2024

• Military Rd – between Belmont Rd and Raglan St 
• Military Rd – between Prince Albert St and Belmont Rd – northbound
• Military Rd – between Spit Rd and Mandolong Rd

Alcohol Free Zones 

Alcohol Free Zones will be implemented in the southern section of Bradleys Head Road south of Whiting Beach Road and in Athol Wharf Road from 8am on 31 December 2023 until 6am on 1 January 2024.
