Community Survey
Mosman Council has recorded strong results in its latest Community Survey. A random sample survey of more than 400 local residents conducted by independent market researchers Micromex Research has found that community satisfaction with Council performance has continued its upward trend.
Highest rated Council services for satisfaction were keeping food premises safe, cleanliness, appearance and management of public spaces, provision and maintenance of parklands, cleaning of streets and library services. The most significant rise in satisfaction since Council’s previous survey was with the condition of public toilets, with the majority of Council services also rating above the industry benchmark for satisfaction.
The survey also found that 99% of residents rate their quality of life as good to excellent. Residents particularly value local opportunities for a healthy lifestyle, Mosman’s liveable places and spaces, availability of quality educational facilities, the balance between natural and built environments and being part of a tolerant, harmonious community.
