Gallery fund

Mosman Art Gallery has launched a new Acquisition Fund to support the continued expansion of its acclaimed Mosman Art Collection, and to mark the 10^th anniversary of The Balnaves Gift set of early Australian paintings which was generously donated in 2012 by the late Neil Balnaves AO.

To kick-start the fund, the gallery is supporting the proposed acquisition of Imants Tillers’ major work Factum 1, 2021, ahead of a planned survey exhibition of Tillers’ work in 2024, which will feature this work.

The new fund will continue Neil’s inspiring legacy by facilitating the acquisition and commissioning of works for the Mosman Art Collection.
