Refurbished jetty completed
The completion of a refurbished jetty and seawall supplement with an installation of a new dinghy rack that will improve the experience for visitors and watercraft users, has been marked with an official opening at the water’s edge overlooking Quakers Hat Bay.
Design and construction contractors joined Mosman Mayor Carolyn Corrigan at Inkerman Street Wharf.
The occasion formally marked completion of works to replace dilapidated jetty decking and restore an adjacent seawall. The project also made improvements to access around an on-site watercraft storage area and created formal spaces for boat users to enhance safety.
The $290,000 project received $170,000 funding from the Australian Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure (LRCI) Program, with Mosman Council financing the remaining cost.
